GDST expert group visits YPM

On the afternoon of August 16, the expert group on sci-tech projects and new product trial-manufacture under Guangxi Department of Science and Technology (GDST) visited Yuchai Power Machinery Co., Ltd. (YPM) to inspect the progress of "YCD4M1L-140 National IV diesel engine R & D project".

Led by Liang Bin, vice general manager of YPM, the team of "YCD4M1L-140 National IV diesel engine R & D project" received the group and introduced the project progress.  

The expert group conducts a field inspection 

"YCD4M1L-140 National IV diesel engine R & D project" is a key sci-tech project declared by YPM in 2010, which is jointly advanced by GDST, Yulin Bureau of Science and Technology and YPM. According to requirements, the project is scheduled to be accepted in 2012, and has entered into the stage of performance optimization and reliability improvement. The expert group spoke highly of the project progress and offered improvement opinions. The project team undertook to earnestly perform the project to build powerful, economical, reliable, low-noise, fuel-conserving and low-emission green products.  

Key sci-tech projects are aimed at promoting the technical upgrading of the industry and the sustainable development of the society, developing new products with independent intellectual property rights or making major improvements in products by achieving breakthrough in key technologies and applying high technologies, and offering technical support for industry restructuring, the sustainable development of the society and the increase in the people's life quality. They are sophisticated and innovative, and play a significant role in promoting the technical progress and development of the industry.
