Municipal leaders holds work coordination meeting at Yuchai to ensure success of Yuchai's 60th anniv

On the afternoon of November 25, led by Zhu Chaoxia, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yulin Municipal Committee and first deputy mayor of the Yulin Municipal Government and Xuan Jiajun, deputy mayor of Yulin, major persons in charge of functional departments of the municipal government headed to Yuchai for a work coordination meeting on Yuchai's 60th anniversary celebration to help Yuchai solve celebration problems, thereby ensuring the success of the celebration. 

Li Tiansheng and Guo Deming, deputy Party secretaries of Yuchai Group, on behalf of Yuchai, advanced celebration problems that Yuchai needs the municipal government and committee to support and coordinate to solve.  

The meeting discussed ten relevant tasks including advancement of construction of Yuchai Plaza and solution of land for Yuchai pavilion, improvement in Yuchai's peripheral environment, political security stabilization, traffic dispersion and fire safety, accommodation safety, reception vehicles, water and electricity, communications and float parade during the celebration, and arranged relevant government functional departments to solve these problems. 

The meeting noted the municipal amenity administration should coordinate relocation of the coal yard at the railway station, a matter of wide concern. If relocation is infeasible in the near term, the yard should suspend operation before Yuchai's 60th anniversary celebration (from December 13 to 19) to reduce Yuchai's peripheral pollution and ensure tidy city appearance and clear roads; the municipal public security bureau and fire brigade should maintain the stability of public security of areas under Yuchai's administration; relevant municipal departments including the municipal tourism bureau, administration for industry and commerce and food safety bureau should make more than 90% of houses and cars available for renting during the celebration and give priority to Yuchai's demands; the traffic police department should approve Yuchai to carry out float parade in the downtown during the celebration, send police to guide traffic at arteries that floats pass by such as crossings and conduct traffic control when necessary; as for color balloon suspension during the celebration, the municipal meteorological bureau required that management expenses should be reduced and exempted and color balloons be used safely 

Zhu raised three requirements at the meeting. 1. Attaching great importance and enhancing understanding. Zhu said, Yuchai's 60th anniversary celebration is not only an event of Yuchai, but also Yulin's. Yulin is in duty bound and all departments shall make utmost efforts to assist in relevant work. Present today are all persons in charge of departments, we should attach great importance and enhance understanding at the leader level. This is a test of all the aspects of Yulin. 

2. Strengthening moves and defining responsibilities. Zhu said, Yuchai has advanced ten problems needing coordinated solution, defined major tasks of all departments and relevant responsible persons. After the meeting, the two sides should get connected promptly, find out site situation, divide responsibilities and solve problems practically. 　

3. Strengthening leadership and fulfilling tasks. Zhu said, there are only more than 20 days away from the celebration. As the schedules are tight, the work is heavy and all departments are busy towards the end of this year, we must give full play to leadership, assign work tasks to specific staff and implement concrete measures to assist Yuchai in finishing tasks perfect as soon as possible.
