Jining Yuchai accelerates engine project process

On October 11, led by General Manager Wu Qiwei, all members of the leading body of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) attended the board meeting of Jining Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (JYM) to study on accelerating the process of YC4W engine and 4D20 engine projects, calling on municipal leaders including Ma Pingchang, secretary of the CPC Jining Municipal Committee and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jining Municipal People’s Congress; Mei Yonghong, deputy secretary of the CPC Jining Municipal Committee and mayor of Jining; Liu Chengwen, member of the Standing Committee and secretary-general of the CPC Jining Municipal Committee; and She Chunming, secretary of the Party Work Committee of Jining National High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

At the meeting, the board of directors of JYM further stressed the importance of the YC4W engine project in Jining, studied and hammered out the idea and measures for accelerating the project of YC4W engine and major parts, set the period and target of the project, determined to complete the steel structure and equipment installation of the workshop by the end of this year, and ensured the project is completed and reaches the full capacity as scheduled.

During its stay in Jining, the delegation headed by Wu called on municipal leaders including Ma Pingchang, Mei Yonghong, Liu Chengwen and She Chunming. The two sides exchanged ideas on project construction in depth. Ma said, Jining and Yuchai has maintained good relations for a long time, and have supported, helped and promoted mutually, thus forging sincere friendship and deep feelings. Attending the board meeting of JYM by the members of the leading body headed by General Manager Wu has fully showed Yuchai’s support and attention to the project in Jining and its trust in and favor of Jining, will further promote mutual feelings, deepen friendship and push forward cooperation. Recently, the two sides have signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement and the YC4W Engine Project Investment Contract in Yulin, to jointly push forward the development of the automobile and parts industry focusing on the project of diesel engines for passenger vehicles. Besides, with the concerted efforts of the two sides, the initiation of the 4D20 engine project has made great progress, the National Development and Reform Commission has accepted the Project Application Report, and the project is expected to come on stream within this year. Now Yuchai has determined to manufacture mature YC4W engines in Jining, which will boost the scale and level of the city’s automobile and parts industry. The CPC Jining Municipal Committee and the Jining Municipal Government will create more favorable investment environment to support Yuchai’s projects in Jining, and will pool all superior strength and quality resources to bring Jining-Yuchai cooperation to a new level.
