Yuchai's independent hybrid system put to mass use in Yuhang

On September 25, the plant of Shaoxing Branch of Xiamen King Long United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd. was immersed in sonorous music and crowded with people, taking on a jubilant atmosphere. The delivery ceremony for 65 Yuhang-bound buses carrying YC6J200-42 engines was held here. 

At 3 p.m., the ceremony kicked off. Lian Weiji, manager of Shaoxing Branch, presided over the ceremony, Chen Lianzhong, mechanical manager of Hangzhou Public Traffic Yuhang Company (HPTY); Zhang Qijian, domestic sales general manager of King Long, as well as Zhuo Bin, senior technical consultant to chairman of Yuchai and Zhang Ting, deputy general manager of Yuchai Sales Co., Ltd. were present. Following the ceremony, Zhang made elaborate arrangements for Yuchai's follow-up parts and technical support. Media outlets, including Commercial Vehicle and China Automotive News, covered the event. 

Against the backdrop of advocacy on green and healthy travel, HPTY started purchasing hybrid vehicles in volume from 2010. At the news, in April 2011, Zhejiang Office seized the opportunity to promote Yuchai's products, and eventually won the order for hybrid systems for all 65 buses due to the outstanding performance, good operating conditions and prominent effects of energy conservation of Yuchai's hybrid systems.
