"Tax Harmony" enters Yuchai

On May 22, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Office, SAT and Yulin Municipal Office, SAT jointly delivered Yuchai session of "Tax Harmony". Staff of the state taxation organs of Guangxi and Yulin entered Yuchai to convey tax policies, answer tax questions, promote exchanges between tax authorities and the enterprise, find out its service demands and promote tax harmony.

Led by Yang Hui, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director-general of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Office, SAT and Tan Huiyun, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director-general of Yulin Municipal Office, SAT, more than 20 leaders and key business staff of the state taxation organs of Guangxi and Yulin, took part in the event together with Deputy Party Secretary Li Tiansheng and Chief Accountant Wan Hong of Yuchai Group; Chief Accountant Qin Xiaohong of YM, as well as key business staff of the financial departments of Yuchai Group and YM and persons in charge of finance of subsidiaries.

During the event, the organizers carried out activities including the special lecture on operation practice of enterprise income tax, a seminar between tax authorities and the enterprise, and state taxation policy delivery. Staff of state taxation organs at two levels explained the new content and knowledge of tax policies to Yuchai's financial staff, came up with the notes for business handling, answered and discussed problems encountered by Yuchai's financial staff in tax business handling.

At the seminar, Yang presented Guangxi State Taxation Convenience to Yuchai on behalf of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Office, SAT, and Tan presented the Manual for Tax Policy Service tailored to Yuchai on behalf of Yulin Municipal Office, SAT. Subsequently, the two sides had heated and sincere discussion and exchange about tax policies and specific cases.

"Tax Harmony" is a concrete move of state taxation authorities to change concepts and serve overall economic and social interests as well as a good way of communication between tax authorities and enterprises, Yang said, adding the event is aimed to cement relations and communication between tax authorities and enterprises, and to intensify tax policy training and promote the harmony of relations between tax authorities and enterprises by delivering policies. He required that the state taxation organs of Guangxi and Yulin should carry out more similar activities to actively convey and use tax policies, and support enterprises in growing strong, thus achieving the win-win of tax authorities and enterprises, and that Yuchai should collect and organize the problems mentioned at the seminar, submit summaries to tax authorities for deliberation and authoritative, standard and comprehensive reply.

Yuchai is a major taxpaying enterprise in Yulin and Guangxi, and the problems encountered by Yuchai during tax business handling are representative in manufacturing. The event is of great guiding and practical importance to Yuchai.
