Yuchai wins award for power system technology at 2nd CENS China (Kunming) New Energy Bus Competition

At the award ceremony for the 2nd CENS China (Kunming) New Energy Bus Competition, Yuchai won the award for power system technology as the only prizewinning engine manufacturer. 　　

The Annual Conference 2011 of the Science and Technology Sub-association of China Urban Public Transport Association (CUPTA) themed "Innovation Drive, Green Bus, Cooperative Development", 2011 China (Zhuzhou) Summit on Technical Innovation and Demonstrative Applications of Energy-conserving and New Energy Buses and the award ceremony for the 2nd CENS China (Kunming) New Energy Bus Competition were held in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province from September 9 to 10, 2011. 　

The conference was organized by CUPTA, undertaken by Hunan CSR Times Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Zhuzhou City Public Transportation Limited Liability Company, Kunming Public Transport (Group) Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Public Transport Corporation, Tianjin Public Transport Group Co., Ltd., Jinan Public Transport Corporation, Ningbo Public Transportation Corporation, the Platform for Industrial Technical Innovation of Extended-Range Electric Vehicles for Urban Public Transport in China and Hunan Yatai Industrial Co., Ltd., attracting more than 300 attendees. 　

At the conference, public transport companies summarized existing problems and experience in applications of new energy power in buses, looked into follow-up development and conducted a feasibility analysis, thus providing the government with first-hand previous experience for future applications of new energy power.
