Hunan Government Official Website: Sany Industrial Park in Germany Goes Operational

Sany Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. announced the operation of its newly-built industrial park at Bedburg of North Rine -Westphalia (NRW) in Germany on June 20. Xu Shousheng, governor of Hunan Province, Wu Hongbo, Chinese ambassador to Germany, and Fox Berger, minister of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy, Construction, Housing & Transport of the State of North Rhine Westphalia attended the opening ceremony.
　　

The three officials jointly pressed the start button of the industrial park. Then they visited the first machinery product manufactured in the park.
　　

This project is regarded as Chinese enterprises' largest investment in Europe,thus marking a milestone in overseas investment for the country's construction machinery industry.
　　

Governor Xu remarked at the opening ceremony that as Hunan's major construction machinery producer, Sany has strong capabilities in technological innovation and R&D of high-quality products. The new park is expected to significantly enhance the company's competitiveness in European market. It will also provide more employment opportunities for local people and propel the social and economic development of Bedburg.
