YHI achieves new patent success in 2011

Recently, Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) held the sum-up and commendation conference on patent work. In 2011, YHI hit a new high in patent application. It applied for 127 patents with a target fulfillment rate of 181%, including 17 patents for invention, 100 utility model patents and 10 design patents, and won 57 patents, overfulfilling the annual target.  

YHI has always attached great importance to patent application by holding a patent sum-up and commendation conference at the beginning of every year, thereby setting examples and commending advanced collectives and individuals. Besides, YHI assigned staff in charge of patent application and regularly announced the situation of patent application. In patent work in recent years, YHI has focused on improving its original capacity for technical R & D of construction machinery, introducing and absorbing advanced technologies, improving the capacity for independent innovation and sharpening core competitiveness of products, and has effectively advanced new product development and technical research through patent work, thus enhancing the technical content and market competitiveness of Yuchai's construction machinery.
