Yuchai holds warranty signing ceremony for 2012

On April 18, Yuchai held the warranty signing ceremony for 2012. Among attendees were chairman of Yuchai Group; members of the leading bodies of Yuchai Group and Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM); Party leaders of all departments, plants and subsidiaries, as well as persons in charge of major projects. 　

At the ceremony, President Gu Tangsheng and Deputy Party Secretary Guo Deming of Yuchai Group, on behalf of the presidential team and the Party committee of Yuchai Group, signed warranties with Yan for business objectives, major project construction, safe production and clean operations in 2012. General Manager Wu Qiwei and Deputy Party Secretary Zhang Jiasha (commissioned by Li Tiansheng), on behalf of the management team and the Party committee of YM, signed warranties with Yan for business objectives, major project construction, safe production and clean operation in 2012. Besides, persons in charge of subsidiaries of Yuchai Group and YM signed warranties with Gu and Wu for business operations and safe production in 2012, persons in charge of major projects of Yuchai Group and YM signed warranties with Gu and Wu for major projects in 2012. Guo, on behalf of the Party Committee of Yuchai Group and Zhang, on behalf of the Party Committee of YM, signed "warranties for clean operations" with persons in charge of Party organizations of all subsidiaries.

It is learned that the group had 13 major projects in 10 cities with a total investment of 5.536 billion yuan, including six of YM and seven of Yuchai. The 13 projects progressed smoothly, and three were commended by the group. The solvent oil project in Qinzhou won the first prize and a bonus of 200,000 yuan; the Phase 2 project of the foundry center and the university graduate apartment project won the second prize and a bonus of 100,000 yuan each. 　
In 2012, the group will have 10 major projects with 24 key control nodes and a total investment of 2.652 billion yuan, including five of Yuchai and five of YM. 　　

The signing of annual warranties is intended to ensure Yuchai's continuous development. 2012 is the second year for the implementation of Yuchai's objective of 100 billion yuan in the "twelfth five-year" period. Amid the severe market situation, the signing of warranties and fulfillment of responsibilities is of great importance to ensuring the implementation of Yuchai's business principle of "improving quality, maintaining growth, opening sources and promoting development" and the accomplishment of its business objective of 46 billion yuan, ensuring the scheduled progressing of Yuchai's major projects, promoting safe production and strengthening clean operation building of leading cadres.
