YHI's QC group ranks among "national outstanding QC groups"

The three-day 32nd QC Group Congress and Achievement Contest, organized by Guangxi Quality Association, Guangxi Federation of Trade Unions and Guangxi Association for Science and Technology, concluded in Guilin on July 8. Through intense competition, on strength of precise logic and adept application of the statistical method, the New Method of Studying NC Machining of Tapped Hole of YC230 Excavator Platform of the QC group of Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) stood out of over 100 outstanding achievements of QC groups of Guangxi to claim the title of "national outstanding QC groups in 2011". This is another national award of YHI's QC group after it won the first prize in the Haiyangwang National QC Group Achievement Contest in Haikou this April.

220 representatives of enterprises in Guangxi entered for the contest, and 108 outstanding achievements of QC groups in Guangxi were released for exchange. Four representatives of YHI's QC group, including Gan Qaing, participated in the contest.

Besides, YHI won honors such as the title of Guangxi's outstanding enterprises in QC group activities, 18 QC groups ranked among "Guangxi's outstanding QC groups", one team among "Guangxi's quality trustworthy groups" and two individuals among "outstanding promoters of QC group activities".
