Volvo's high reach excavators

Volvo's high-reach EC380DHR and EC480DHR excavators are designed for demolition jobsites and can be fitted with 69-ft. 2-in. and 89-ft. 9-in. booms, respectively, or standard digging booms.

• Bolt-on side impact protection system
• Micro-mesh screens on doors and engine cowl keep out particles
• Bucket cylinder guard (digging front) and boom cylinder guard (high reach front) protect rods and cylinders
• Swing ring protection guard protects swing ring bearing seal and grease piping
• Frame-mounted, falling object guard (FOG); bars on front of the guard are set at angles to increase forward visibility
• Total moment indicator (TMI) detects if machine is overloaded and sounds alarm and flashes lamp to warn operator
