Liebherr Wins Employer Branding Award

On Thursday 24 October 2013, the first ever Employer Branding Award was presented at the sixth Career Night of the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU). As part of a representative study, the Centre for Growth And Sales Strategy at the HNU identified the most attractive employers in the Ulm/Neu-Ulm/Alb-Donau region from the point of view of students. 286 students of economics, engineering and IT at the Universities of Applied Sciences of Ulm and Neu-Ulm and the University of Ulm elected Liebherr in first place.

The study included 64 medium-sized and family-run businesses with total annual revenue of more than 50 million euros. The survey focussed on evaluation criteria such as friendliness, prominence and attractiveness as an employer. The patron of the Employer Branding Award is Dr. Beate Merk, the Bavarian Minister for Europe and honorary senator of the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences. The prize was presented by the President of the HNU, Prof. Dr. Uta M. Feser, as well as by the professors at the centre of studies, Dr. Alexander Kracklauer and Dr. Sascha Fabian.
