Fuyang Deputy Mayor Liu Hui visits Yuchai

On the afternoon of October 17, a delegation of three members, headed by Liu Hui, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Fuyang Municipal Committee and deputy mayor of Fuyang, visited Yuchai Group in the company of Zhu Zhaoxia, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yulin Municipal Committee and first deputy mayor of Yulin. Wu Qiwei, general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM); Su Peng, vice president of Yuchai Group and Liang Qingyan, deputy general manager of YM warmly received the delegation.

At the seminar, Wu extended warm welcome to the delegation, and introduced Yuchai overview from such aspects as Yuchai ranking on the list of China top 500 enterprises, engine series, R & D strength, talent team and service network, and elaborated on Yuchai business operation in the first three quarters of 2011 from its six sectors such as engine, construction machinery and energy chemical. Yuchai has achieved sales revenues of RMB 21.067 billion in the first half of this year, said Wu, adding Yuchai is confident of fulfilling the sales target of RMB 40 billion at the end of this year despite the overall slump of the engine industry.

Liu expressed sincere thanks for the warm reception from Yuchai leaders, and said frankly he came here to learn from Yulin, visit Yuchai and promote Fuyang in the hope of cooperating with Yulin and Yuchai for common development. Fuyang agricultural machinery and special vehicle markets are promising, water, coal and power resources are rich, hopefully, Yuchai leaders will visit Fuyang for work instructions, added Liu.

Before the seminar, Su and Liang showed the delegation around Yuchai foundry center, heavy engine processing workshop and heavy engine assembling & commissioning workshop.
