YHI's large & medium-duty hydraulic excavators boost national water control project

On July 18, along the Yu River in Guiping, Guangxi, people thronging, banners fluttering, excavators, bulldozers, rollers and transport carts wearing red flowers moved in the construction site one after another, marking the launch of the construction of a national water control project--a road supporting Dateng Gorge hydro-junction, a national water control project.

Over the past six months in the lead up to the launch, the headquarters have meticulously selected a batch of fine construction equipment to ensure the project progresses smoothly as scheduled. As a national excavator brand enjoying great domestic and global reputation, Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited （YHI） has been highly recognized and favored by the market and customers for its outstanding quality and all-round services. Therefore, the constructor purchased eight large and medium-duty excavators from YHI, including well-recognized YC230LC-8 hydraulic excavator and YC210LC-8 hydraulic excavator reputed as "earthwork master". These excavators strutted their stuff on the construction site as the closest and helpful "partners" of construction personnel.

According to sources, with an investment of 49 billion yuan, the project water control project will be jointly constructed by the Department of Water Resources, Guangxi and Guangdong. The road works will last two years. With a total length of 5.9 kilometers and an investment of 80 million yuan, the project is expected to be open to traffic in late 2014.
