Yuchai's chief expert Zhong Yongfang recommends five required courses in communication with joined graduates in science

On June 24, at the invitation of Yuchai Training Center (YTC), Zhong Yongfang, chief expert of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) in product reliability technology, made a face-to-face communication with 40 graduates in science that joined the company in 2010.

Everyone respectfully called Zhong "Uncle Zhong" as Yuchai's senior staff did, admired his profound knowledge and was curious about his growth and successful experience. Zhong readily shared his interesting stories cases of growth as a young man, and answered all the technical problems collected by YTC before the seminar.

At the seminar, everyone admired Zhong for blurting out various computational formulas. From the aspects of importance and guiding significance, Zhong introduced and recommended five required courses including Advanced Mathematics, Theoretical Mechanics, Material Mechanics, Metal Mechanics and Design and Computing of Mechanical Parts. He added that, only by turning knowledge into common sense can theory be used to guide practice, as long as the five books are studied thoroughly, a lot of problems will be solved.

Wan Shenglan, director of YTC, shared Zhong's learning cases, hoping the young will learn modestly from the senior, be good at learn from the senior, consult the senior actively, ask the senior whenever they meet problems, "learn the five books well" and "turn knowledge into common sense".

Despite a short communication, Yuchai's young staff has realized the importance of frontlinepractice and further consolidated their determination to keep learning, learn modestly and practice boldly.
