Yuchai makes elaborate preparations to celebrate 60th anniversary

The year 2011 is the opening year of the "twelfth five-year" period for Yuchai and coincides with its 60th anniversary. To celebrate the 60th anniversary, further arouse the passion of all staff and enhance the enterprise's brand influence, Yuchai attached great importance to, conducted elaborate planning and systematic organization of, and made careful preparations for commemorative and celebratory activities.

On the afternoon of June 24, Guo Deming, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai, presided over the first session of the preparatory work group of the celebration, deploying preparatory work, marking the launch of the preparatory work.

According to the overall plan, the celebration will, under the guidance of the concept of "inheritance, innovation, sharing and leap" and under the principles of combination of interior and exterior, openness, unity, solemnity and grandness, aim to accomplish the group's business objective to ensure the success in the opening year, to accomplish the objective of publicity to enhance recognition at corporate and national levels, and to accomplish the objective of celebration to share Yuchai's 60 years' successful experience. The celebration and commemorative activities will be held in the context of four stages-"prelude, inspiration, cultivation and climax". Main activities include the "conference in celebration of Yuchai's 60th anniversary", with the participation of representatives from all sides, including superior leaders, industrial experts, representative suppliers, representative service stations and Yuchai's customers; the international high-end forum on the development of internal combustion engines, with the participation of industrial experts and guests; the gala in celebration of Yuchai' 60th anniversary, a high-caliber variety show originated by Yuchai to reflect its development over the past six decades and blend in Yuchai's corporate culture and elements; the exhibition on Yuchai's six-decade achievements, which will comprehensively demonstrate Yuchai's brilliant achievements over the past six decades; a celebratory dinner; the annual marketing service and supplier conference; the selection of meritorious figures of enterprises, etc.

During the celebration, Yuchai will also carry out social responsibility activities such as educational donation and public welfare donation; will cooperate with high-end media outlets in establishing a special publicity platform for the grand celebration to disseminate Yuchai's brand; will hold the premier of China Power, a seminar on "China Power ? Yuchai Phenomenon" and a campaign on customer reward.

To arouse the enthusiasm of Yuchai's staff and expand participation, during the celebration, a large sports meet, a reading forum, as well as a campaign to collect photos, essays, calligraphies and paintings in commemoration of Yuchai's six-decade achievements will also be staged. Besides, the "logo", mascot, commemorative album and feature film will be introduced to commemorate Yuchai's 60th anniversary.

Celebrating Yuchai's 60th anniversary is a grand event of Yuchai this year as well as a great joy for all its staff. To ensure the success of the celebration, Yuchai has established the preparatory committee and office, with Chairman Yan Ping as leader of the preparatory work group and Deputy Party Secretary Guo Deming as director of the preparatory office. Besides, the preparatory office was staffed with full-time personnel in charge of organizing, carrying out and pressing ahead with celebratory activities. Currently, the overall plan of celebratory activities has been released, and preparations for commemorative and celebratory activities are progressing intensively.

Next, Yuchai will further strengthen organization leadership and work implementation, strengthen information communication and work connection, press ahead with various celebratory and commemorative activities in a scientific, effective and coordinated manner, and endeavor to create a favorable atmosphere for Yuchai to make a good start in the "twelfth five-year" period.
