YHI's 26 projects awarded, YC230LC among national key new product projects

According to sources, all the 26 projects declared by Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) were awarded at the 2011 review meeting of Guangxi on advanced processes, tools and outstanding equipment modification achievements in the heavy industry. Six projects, including Technological Improvement in Welding Deformation of Main Base Plate of YC135 Platform and Transformation of Dedusting System of Robot Cutter, gained unanimous praise from review experts and won the first prize by strong practicality, prominent innovation points, high economic benefit and high popularization value. Eight projects, including Research on SMC--New Materials for Excavator Covering, won the second prize, and 12 projects, including Application of Forming Mould of Upper Cover Plate of Bucket Arm of YC230 Excavator, won the third prize. 

YHI's "YC230LC hydraulic excavator" project ranked among national key new product projects and drew a subsidy of RMB 300,000 from the Ministry of Finance. It was learned that only five enterprises in Guangxi won the award. 　

YC230LC hydraulic excavator, fully and independently developed by YHI, won the third prize of Guangxi for progress in science and technology in 2010 and the first prize of Yulin for progress in science and technology in 2010. 　

Since launch, YC230LC has swiftly occupied the market by high efficiency, energy conservation and high reliability. So far, the series has become one of YHI's bestsellers.
