Yuchai's 60th anniversary celebration to highlight "sharing"

Recently, it was learned from Guo Deming, director of the preparatory office of Yuchai's 60th anniversary celebration that the celebration will center on the keyword "sharing". "All celebratory events will center on the theme of ‘sharing' to enable all Yuchai's suppliers, engine plants, service providers, governments and other partners to share its achievements over the six decades," said Guo. 　

According to Guo, the celebration, unprecedented in scale, will invite more than 2,000 guests, including government leaders, leaders of financial institutions, leaders and experts of industrial associations, leaders and experts of institutions of higher learning, guest journalists, etc. The celebration includes "three conferences" (thematic celebratory conference, annual marketing conference and annual supplier conference) and "three activities" (international internal combustion engine summit, gala and ribbon-cutting ceremony for launch of the 4,000,000th engine")."These conferences and activities are put together to enable all attendees including Yuchai's partners to share Yuchai's development achievements over the six decades, thus gaining strength and forging ahead to bring Yuchai into the second decade of the new century and achieve the objective in the ‘twelfth five-year' period." At the thematic conference, Yuchai will releasae the new mission and commend Yuchai's "ten meritorious figures" over the six decades. To attract more staff to the celebration, Yuchai will establish branch venues and broadcast points in subsidiaries in other places to televise the thematic conference, gala and other events 　

On the day of celebration, Yuchai's headquarters will be turned into an ocean of colors and festivity. Yuchai Boulevard and Miaoyuan West Road will be well-decorated and product exhibitions will be staged to display Yuchai's product development and achievements over the six decades. Apart from products from Yuchai's six sectors, Yuchai's engine plants will show up with a strong lineup. Remarkably, CSR Yuchai Sichuan Engine Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Yuchai in another place, will participate with its largest diesel engine model eight meters in length and ten tons in weight. 

As the host of the celebration, Yuchai's staff will naturally play a leading role. To this end, Yuchai will present a set of ceramic dinnerware to every staff. At the gala, all programs will focus on Yuchai to display its spirit with songs and dances. Then, several famous singing stars in the country or Guangxi will be invited for performance. The gala is scheduled to be staged at Yuchai's Donghua Stadium at 8 p.m. December 18.  　

According to sources, preparations for Yuchai's 60th anniversary celebration started early this year and covered four stages: prelude, inspiration, cultivation and climax, colorful activities were carried out in the first three stages, and the celebration is warming up. With the celebration around the corner, preparations are being made in full swing.
