Guangxi People's Government Chairman Ma Biao visits YHI

On the morning of November 22, Ma Biao, chairman of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, visited Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) in the company of Jin Xiangjun, secretary of the CPC Yulin Municipal Committee and Han Yuanli, mayor of Yulin. Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group and YHI, warmly received the delegation together with YHI's business body.

The delegation visited the metalwork and assembly plants of the Yulin division of YHI, inquiring into product lines and production operations. At the metalwork plant, Ma enthusiastically watched ABB welding robots and the precision double-sided boring and milling center introduced from Korea, asking about their processes. When learning YHI has achieved a welding seam detection qualification rate of 99.9% as one of the manufacturers that have applied welding robots extensively and produced good effects in the domestic industry, Ma nodded in praise.

During visiting the assembly plant, Yan introduced, "Through technical renovation, the annual production capacity of the Yulin base of YHI has topped 10,000 units and is on the increase." Subsequently, the delegation watched the demonstration of excavator properties, too.

Yan reported Yuchai's production and business operation, and the achievements and current production and business situation of YHI as Yuchai's second largest sector, hoped the autonomous region government would pay close attention to YHI's development and offer policy support in R & D talent introduction, logistics cost reduction and capital, and sincerely invited Ma to Yuchai's 60th anniversary celebration. 　

As a key object of support under the autonomous region's program of building 100-billion-yuan enterprises, 100-billion-yuan parks and 100-billion-yuan industries, the autonomous region government will offer all-round support in such aspects as talent building and enterprise land, said Ma. Also, he entrusted municipal leaders present to create favorable conditions for Yuchai's development to help accomplish the objective of annual sales of RMB 100 billion as soon as possible.
