Same Deutz-Fahr Purchasing President Aldo Carozza visits Yuchai

Recently, headed by Purchasing President Aldo Carozza and Technical President Massimo Ribaldone of Same Deutz-Fahr Group, Italy, and CEO Giorgio Vinciguerra of Shandong Changlin Deutz-Fahr Machinery Co., Ltd., a delegation of seven members visited Yuchai.

The guests visited Yuchai's manufacturing workshop and product laboratory, inquiring into Yuchai's production capacity, R & D, quality control, product properties, matching plan and overseas service capacity, with emphasis on whether Yuchai's products have met the requirements of overseas markets for National III and National IV emissions. Carozza thought Yuchai's product positioning and overseas market network live up to Same's expectation, admiring Yuchai's heavy investment in product R & D and quality assurance.

Founded in 1927, Same has established several tractor and reaper manufacturing bases around the world. Founded in October 2011, with a registered capital of 200 million yuan, Shandong Changlin Deutz-Fahr Machinery Co., Ltd. was jointly established by Same Deutz-Fahr Group and Changlin Group. The 25hp-100hp tractor arm of Shandong Changlin Agricultural Equipment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Changlin Group, was merged into the joint venture. Last year, the joint venture purchased 1,717 Yuchai engines and equipped 90 percent of its 100hp tractors with Yuchai engines. Besides, the joint venture planned to introduce 110-210hp tractors from Italy and equip them with homemade engines. The joint venture targets the Chinese market, with equal emphasis on overseas markets, especially South America, Eastern Europe, Africa and Australia.
