SwRI VP Bruce Bykowski visits Yuchai

On the morning of May 15, Bruce Bykowski, vice president of Southwest Research Institute （SwRI）, US and Shi Ximing, manager of Beijing Office of SwRI visited Yuchai. Leaders, including Wu Qiwei, general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. （YM） and Zhuo Bin, senior technical advisor to chairman of Yuchai Group, warmly received the guests.

The guests visited the laboratory, heavy engine processing workshop and heavy engine assembling & commission workshop, finding out Yuchai's advanced processes, and production and business operations this year.

Meeting scene

The two sides exchanged ideas in depth on business cooperation. The visit is a return for Chairman Yan Ping's visit to SwRI last year, said Bykowski, adding the two enterprises have maintained close and friendly relations and hoping the enterprises will cement communication to lay a more solid foundation for cooperation.

In recent three years, Yuchai has worked with SwRI on projects such as 6A-45 engine development consultation, 4S engine development consultation and 6L gas engine development consultation.
