Yuchai first organizes watchkeepers for certification exam for instruction receivers in power grid dispatching

Recently, Yuchai, for the first time, organized 77 dispatching watchkeepers for the certification examination for instruction receivers in power grid dispatching held by Yulin Power Supply Bureau. The move has created a platform for career development of professionals, laying a solid foundation for better ensuring the safe and stable operation of Yuchai's power grid in the future.

Under the certification system of the overall dispatching operation system of China Southern Power Grid, in light of Yulin's actualities, the exam was designed by Yulin Power Grid Corporation to strengthen the administration of the city's dispatching operators, improve the business competence of relevant personnel, standardize dispatching behavior and further tighten dispatching discipline to ensure the safety and stability of power grids. The exam involved relevant laws, regulations and technical standards for power grid dispatching, handling of accidents from power grid operations, management of power grid inspection and repair, automatic safety devices, power system relaying, dispatching automation, etc. Obtaining the qualification to receive instructions and observing dispatching discipline is requisite for watchkeepers to go on duty, and those without the qualification shall not be entitled to receive instructions in prefectural dispatching in Yulin.

According to the source, after a watchkeeper passed the exam, the prefectural dispatching authorities shall report the exam results to the provincial dispatching authorities, which shall then publish a list of the watchkeepers that have obtained the qualification and are allowed to go on duty.
