Sichuan's governor Jiang Jufeng visits CSR Yuchai

Recently, a delegation headed by Jiang Jufeng, deputy secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and governor of Sichuan Province, visited CSR Yuchai. Among accompanying municipal leaders were Li Jia, secretary of the CPC Ziyang Municipal Committee and mayor of Ziyang. Zhang Zhengqing, chairman and Party secretary of CSR Yuchai briefed the delegation about the enterprise's business development.

The delegation visited high-speed engine parts assembling, general assembling and testing areas of the First Plant of CSR Yuchai. During the visit, Zhang reported CSR Yuchai's overall operations and achievements in such aspects as product development, technical innovation and corporate management. In recent two years, All the cadres and workers of CSR Yuchai have been committed to building the company into a domestically top and internationally competitive professional engine development and manufacturing base, and the company has developed vigorously, with its business scale expanding rapidly. In 2011, the company's "Large, Medium & Small-power Engine Industrialization Project" was listed among "Sichuan's prioritized emerging strategic projects", received a development promotion fund of 45.75 million yuan and achieved annual sales revenues of 1.268 billion yuan. 　

Jiang was pleased to learn CSR Yuchai's first independently developed NY9320 large-power medium-speed engine with a single-cylinder power of over 500kW that can replace similar foreign branded high-end products was trial-manufactured successfully and drew extensive attention at the 11th China (Shanghai) International Power and Generating Sets Exhibition. This year, the Sichuan Provincial Government will release preferential policies to encourage enterprises to accelerate independent innovation and rapidly introduce products with independent intellectual property rights, Jiang noted, hoping CSR Yuchai will seize the opportunity, bring its industrial advantage into play, achieve greater breakthroughs in technical innovation and corporate operations, and make great strides, thus becoming a rising pearl in Sichuan's industry and making greater contributions to the industrial development and economic construction of Sichuan and Ziyang. 　

Also, the delegation inquired into CSR Yuchai's production operation, investment and cash movement. After hearing the report, Jiang said he visited CSR Yuchai as early as two years ago, when the company's scale and equipment were yet to be improved, but everything has changed greatly when he was here today. Particularly, it was exhilarating to see the company's modern production lines and workers' good mental outlook and to learn about the company's achievements in such aspects as technical innovation, product innovation and management innovation. As a new force in Sichuan's major technical equipment industry, CSR Yuchai is a superior enterprise with rich essence, tremendous strength, a solid development foundation and a bright prospect, which will play a driving role in further perfecting and promoting the development of Sichuan's upstream and downstream industry chains. Hopefully, provincial and municipal governments at all levels will spare no efforts to serve the enterprise, constantly improve its business environment and investment environment, practically solve problems for its development and further promote its healthy development.
