Yuchai appears at 111th Canton Fair with three engine models

Recently, Yuchai has made a brilliant presence at the 111th Canton Fair with three engine models--YC6T54C, YC6A280C and YC6K, drawing extensive attention of more than 100 purchasers from regions such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America.

Machinery exhibitors of Phase 1 of the Canton Fair were concentrated in fields such as large machinery, automotive parts and agricultural machinery. Agricultural machinery included generating set, electric motor, construction machinery, tractor, agricultural vehicle, etc. Engine exhibitors included Yuchai, Shangchai, Weichai and Tianjin Lovol. Generating set manufacturers in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong mainly exhibited generating sets and generating units.

Statistical data show a total of 50,621 overseas purchasers from around Asia, 14,558 from Europe and 3,501 from the U.S. participated in the exhibition, almost even with the previous edition. However, affected by external factors such as the recurring European debt crisis and high unemployment rate of the U.S. and internal factors such as labor cost and RMB exchange rate increase, foreign trade enterprises' number of executed orders and orders of intent has dropped universally, and the vast majority of orders are small and short-term orders.
