YM concludes strategic framework agreement with CLHG

On April 26, Chairman Tang Chuanmin and Deputy General Manager of Chongqing Line-Haul Group Co., Ltd. (CLHG); Cheng Wenzuo, manager of Materials Company and Li Guangjie, general manger of Huida Automobile Sales Co., Ltd., Chongqing Transportation Group visited Yuchai. Wu Qiwei, general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM); Zhang Ting, deputy general manager, Yuchai Sales Co., Ltd. and Liu Ming, executive deputy general manager of Yuchai Machinery Monopoly Development Co., Ltd. warmly received the visitors. The two sides exchanged ideas on strategic cooperation and concluded a strategic framework agreement. 　

CLHG, a subsidiary of Chongqing Transportation Group (CTG), has progressively transformed from single transportation operation in its early days to diversified operation integrating road transport of passengers and cargo, automobile repair, automobile sale, oil sale, drive training, property with hotel. In Chongqing's passenger transport market, CTG holds a share of more than 70 percent, with its business covering 41 districts and counties, weight of which was in the charge of CLHG. In the public transport market, CTG operates bus stations, buses, lines and taxis outside the inner ring of Chongqing.

Tang said he had long heard about Yuchai and visited this time to deepen understanding and promote cooperation, hoping CLHG's buses will carry as many Yuchai engines as possible and Yuchai will offer support in such aspects as technology, after services and parts. 　

Wu briefed the visitors on Yuchai's R & D technologies and bus engines, saying Yuchai holds a share of 70 percent in the bus sector and has small model YC4FA and large model YC6MK to be promoted primarily this year. This year, YM aims to manufacture 560,000 engines, including more than 120,000 bus engines. Also, Wu consulted Tang about school bus operations in Chongqing.

Wu warmly pledged to value CLHG as Yuchai's southwestern experimental base for intercity bus and new product launch. 　

Wu and Tang concluded a strategic framework agreement on behalf of YM and CLHG respectively.
