Yuchai, BIT reaches cooperation intent

(YM) and Feng Jing, deputy chief engineer of Yuchai R & D Center, visited Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), discussing cooperation with leaders, experts and professors of BIT, including Prof. Zhang Ying, Party secretary of BIT and Hu Jibin, deputy dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering of BIT

At the meeting, Tan introduced Yuchai's corporate strength and development plan, expressing its strong intent of cooperation in developing its reliability technology improvement project and introducing talents from BIT and cultivating reserves for its expert team. Hu introduced the university. Eventually, the two sides reached consensuses on matters of school-enterprise cooperation including establishing a mechanism of school-enterprise exchange visits, complementing each others' advantages, sharing resources, jointly building a talent exchange platform and carrying out cooperation in production, teaching and research.

It enjoys a high status in technical researches on dynamics armaments for the army and aerospace. In recent years, it has kept ahead technically in diesel engine power testing and applications. Remarkably, its technical strength in such aspects as thermal fatigue testing of cylinder cover and plateau simulation bench testing are great appeals for Yuchai's engine property testing and technical R & D.
