Yuchai service stations poised for Henan's wheat harvest

As the saying goes, "a summer harvest is equal to three autumn harvests", wheat harvest has a direct bearing on the livelihood of innumerable households for farmers. Nine counties and one city in the wheat-producing region of Zhumadian, Henan Province has a harvesting area of some 9.26 million mu concentrated in Zhengyang, Xincai, Pingyu, Runan, Shangcai and Queshan.

With heavy tasks, Zhumadian is the first station of the wheat harvest in Henan. To ensure the normal operation of the harvest, it is very important to provide good services.

According to the statistics of Zhumadian Daily, some 39,000 combines will be input into the summer wheat harvest this year, among which about 70 percent to 81 percent will carry Yuchai engines. To ensure combines complete the harvest smoothly, Yuchai has placed service support on agenda.

In light of actual conditions this year, after an overall consideration to factors including harvest performance in previous years, Yuchai's station in Fengze, Zhumadian held a prior-harvest rally conference at Yuchai's Henan office in mid-April 2012. According to the spirit of the headquarters, at the call of Yuchai, the conference carried out mobilization for summer harvest service by integrating Yuchai's service concept with the service philopshy of "service is essential to everything. Before the harvest, Fengze station visited agricultural machinery companies and combine distributors in counties, as well as local agricultural machinery cooperatives and major customers to learn relevant information, and joined hands with manufacturers Foton Lovol and Zhongshou for market maintenance and negotiated with them about service support during the harvest. Besides, in main wheat-producing areas including Zhengyang, Xincai and Pingyu, Yuchai's service staff assisted machinery plants in giving training in pre-harvest operation and maintenance. With the strong support of Yuchai customer service center and Henan office, Fengze station has set up a hotline, launch pre-harvest SMS maintenance reminder service, established mobile service squads and duly provide maintenance services at harvesting points.
