Yan Ping surveys Hubei's special vehicle manufacturing and discusses cooperation

On April 6, Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, headed to Hubei on a survey of the province's special vehicle manufacturing. President Gu Tangsheng, Vice President Su Peng and Chief Accountant Wang Hong of Yuchai Group and Du Futian, chairman of Yuchai Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. accompanied Yan. 　　

The delegation first called on Li Hongzhong, secretary of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee and Wang Guosheng, governor of Hubei Province in Xiaogan, Hubei. The two sides held talks on cementing investment cooperation.   

Li extended warm welcome to the delegation headed by Yan and Gu, saying China's economy is transforming rapidly from foreign demand pull to domestic demand drive with profound changes in international and domestic economic situation. Located in the center of central China, Hubei enjoys a superior geographical location, developed transportation, a broad hinterland market and favorable development conditions, and has become a front for seizing the opportunity of expanding domestic demand and developing the domestic market. Particularly, Hubei's auto industry has a solid foundation and tremendous strength, has formed auto industry corridors in Wuhan, Shiyan, Xiangyang and Suizhou, and Hubei's auto industry will further grow with the accelerated distribution of domestic auto giants. As the leading enterprise in the engine industry, Yuchai enjoys an important role in the country and the world, and it is the very time for Yuchai to make investment and conduct distribution in Hubei. Hubei's departments at all levels will create favorable environment and provide quality services for Yuchai's development in Hubei under the guidance of the concept of "industry first, entrepreneurs foremost". 　　

Yan said, Hubei is a remarkable place rich in talents and superior in transport location, Yuchai expects much of Yuchai's development superiorities and potential, will value Hubei as a major base for investment and distribution, bring its advantages into play and accelerate project construction to promote common development.

Subsequently, the delegation headed to Suizhou known as the "Chinese capital of special vehicles" for a survey, and held talks with Wang Xiangxi, secretary of the CPC Suizhou Municipal Committee; Liu Xiaoming, mayor of Suizhou; leaders of departments at all levels under the Suizhou Municipal Committee and Government, as well as special vehicle manufacturers. Liu presided over the seminar.   

At the seminar, Wang introduced Suizhou's investment environment and investment policies. Suizhou is a famous Chinese historical and cultural city, a standard science and technology city, one of China's most influential cities as well as the major cradle of China's special vehicles. Special vehicles are Suizhou's pillar industry. After more than four decades' development, Suizhou's special vehicle industry has accumulated solid material and technical foundations, has owned more than 170 automobile and automotive parts manufacturers, including nearly 20 vehicle manufacturers with national qualifications that can manufacture 62 categories and more than 300 types of vehicles and sell products to different parts of the country and more than 20 countries and regions in the world, has become a domestically famous special vehicle manufacturing base, and is a city that grows fastest, has the most complete range and is most competitive in special vehicles in the country. The output and sales volume of tank trucks, sanitation trucks, flat-headed bodies and steel wheels rank first in the country. Suizhou has a complete and distinctive range of vehicles, is rich in industrial resources, and has a broad prospect for cooperating with Yuchai.

Yan also introduced Yuchai's basic information and the idea of cooperating with Suizhou's special vehicle manufacturers in the next period, and hoped the Suizhou Municipal Committee and Government would offer greater support for Yuchai's development in Suizhou.
