YC6T-C, YC6A, YC6M-A marine engines qualified through CCS emission detection

Recently, the test-bed measurement of nitric oxide emission of YC6T510C, YC6A190C and YC6M220C marine engines manufactured by Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. has been completed, marking Yuchai's YC6T-C, YC6A and YC6M-A marine engines have been qualified through CCS emission detection. Upon detection, nitric oxide emission of all the three series has met the requirements of the Rules for Preventing Ships from Causing Air Pollution for level-2 emission limits. The marine surveyors with China Classification Society (CCS) Guangzhou Branch spoke highly of Yuchai products. 　　

After January 1, 2011, the international anti-pollution organization required that nitric oxide emission of newly installed marine engines be increased by 15 percent to 22 percent compared to level-1 emission limits. To meet international requirements, Yuchai's R & D team made fast response and improved products actively, thus ensuring YC6T-C, YC6A and YC6M-A marine engines passed CCS emission detection.
