Yan attends SME Expo opening gala Harmonious Lingnan

On the night of October 23, Harmonious Lingnan, the opening gala of the 8th Small and Medium Enterprises Expo (Yulin China) (SME Expo), was staged at Yulin Sports Center. Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group, attended the gala. Yuchai contributed programs to the show.

After six decades' development, Yuchai has developed from a workshop into a large modern enterprise group, and made outstanding contributions to local economic development. On this account, at the opening gala, the host interviewed Yan. Yan said, Yuchai's remarkable achievements over the six decades have been attributable to the good soil and favorable environment. The soil is Yulin people, and the environment is the support from the local municipal committee and government as well as Yuchai's perseverance over the six decades. So far, Yuchai has formed six industrial sectors including engine, construction machinery, logistics and & vehicle trading, special vehicle, energy & chemical and parts. Yuchai's sales stood at RMB 37 billion last year and are expected to top RMB 40 billion this year, thus making Yuchai a banner of China's national industry. Wherever we go, we are proud of having such a great enterprise in Yulin. Yuchai belongs to Guangxi as well as Yulin people. Despite our difficulties in talent training and other aspects, we are determined and confident that Yuchai will achieve the objective of annual sales of RMB 100 billion at the end of the twelfth five-year period with the support of Yulin people and the great efforts of Yuchai staff.

Subsequently, in the grand dance Brilliant Yuchai, Yuchai staff artistically displayed Yuchai staff's pride and joy on the occasion of Yuchai's 60th anniversary. A feature on Yuchai's 60th anniversary was broadcasted, bringing the audience back to the great moments of Yuchai, demonstrating its brilliant history. In the dance Workshop Scenes, Yuchai staff reproduced the diligence and joy of Yuchai staff in work by simulating daily production scenes of workshops. Yuchai staff, in high spirits, danced to the rushing tempo and interpreted the beautiful rhythm with passion, arousing bursts of cheer and applause from the audience.
