CCCBSB President Chan Sui Kiat visits Yuchai

On the afternoon of October 23, led by President Chan Sui Kiat, a delegation of president of Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Bandar Seri Begawan (CCCBSB) visited Yuchai on the sidelines of the 8th Small and Medium Enterprises Expo (Yulin China) (SME Expo). Leaders of Yulin, including Zhou Hao, vice chairman of the CPPCC Yulin Municipal Committee, showed the delegation around the heavy engine processing line and heavy engine assembling & commissioning line of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) and the plant of Yulin Division of Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI).

During the visit, Chan debriefed Wu Qiwei, general manager of YM and Cui Huabiao, general manager of the International Sales & Marketing Department of YM, about vehicles matching of Yuchai engines, exports to Brunei and marketing service system in Brunei. Chan said he hoped to cement exchanges with Yuchai to jointly create cooperation opportunities. 

At Yulin Division of YHI, Liang Canji, deputy manager of the General Assembly Plant, received the delegation. During the visit, Chan inquired into YHI's product spectrum, production capacity, equipment and process, R & D achievements, etc. When learning YHI has developed new products such as rotary pit excavator, steel grabber and wood grabber, Chan was interested and inquired of staff about the operation efficiency, maintenance, operation training, market services and other information of these machines, requiring staff to send him relevant data to further his knowledge.
