Doosan’s Heavy Construction Equipment on Display at CONEXPO 2011

□ With the aim of joining the Global Top 3 in the field of construction equipment by 2015, Doosan Infracore has initiated marketing activities in North America through the ONE-DOOSAN strategy as part of its efforts to advance into the global market.

□ Doosan Infracore announced its participation in CONEXPO 2011, the world’s largest exhibition of heavy construction equipment, to be held in Las Vegas from March 22 (local time).

□ CONEXPO, held every three years, attracts more than 2,200 companies worldwide and 150,000 visitors.

□ Doosan Infracore prepared a unified exhibition booth under the concept of “ONE-DOOSAN” for the first time at the exhibition to promote its stature as a global heavy construction equipment maker and raise awareness of its brand.

□ Doosan displayed 58 models at the event, including eight new models such as a 70-ton excavator and a 23-ton zero-tail-swing excavator, for customers in North America, and those of its global brands such as Bobcat and Moxy. The company also exhibited a mockup of a next-generation concept excavator, and various eco-friendly diesel engines.

□ Meanwhile, Doosan Infracore invited college students to the exhibition, and provided them with an opportunity to experience first-hand Doosan’s advanced technology and global stature.

□ Fourteen students, who were selected through recommendations by their schools and open recruitment, participated in a study tour of 2011 CONEXPO for eight days, and had a surprise meeting with Chairman Yongmaan Park of Doosan corp.. They also attended a special lecture at UCLA, and participated in a cultural tour of the western U.S.A.
