Burmese VP Tin Aung Myint Oo visits Yuchai

On the morning of October 23, led by Tin Aung Myint Oo, vice president of the Federal Government of Burma, a Burmese government delegation visited Yuchai. Leaders of state departments such as the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Han Yuanli, mayor of Yulin; Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group and Wu Qiwei, general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) accompanied the delegation.

The delegation visited the heavy engine processing line and heavy engine assembling & commissioning line. Yan and Wu introduced Yuchai's product processing, assembling and commissioning technologies, as well as assembling of Yuchai engines in Burma. At the heavy engine assembling & commissioning line, products to be warehoused attracted the delegation. Tin Aung Myint Oo viewed vehicle and marine engines, and nodded praise. 

According to sources, Tin Aung Myint Oo had met with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao in Nanning. The visit came as part of his important itinerary after his attending China-ASEAN Expo and Small and Medium Enterprises Expo. At both expositions, he visited Yuchai hall.
