Yuchai's workers take active part in election of Yuzhou's deputies to people's congress

On July 6, Yuchai comprehensively launched the vote for election of deputies to the 4th People's Congress of Yuzhou District, Yulin. Li Tiansheng and Guo Deming, deputy Party secretaries and other leaders of Yuchai Group, together with Yuchai's workers, cast votes.

Early in the morning, Yuchai's workers headed to nearby polling stations to vote. The voters' active part in the election has shown their great passion for politics. Liang Fuquan, chairman of the trade union of the No. 2 engine plant of Yuchai, said, "The voters' enthusiasm has fully displayed their strong sense of democracy and sense of participating in and discussing governmental and political affairs."

To ensure all voters exercise their right to vote, units such as the cold machining plant, foundry and No.3 engine plant of Yuchai carried out the vote flexibly. The cold machining plant, in light of actualities, organized all sections to set up polling stations, assigned special personnel in charge of distributing and recovering ballots, and counted ballots and reported the counting results; to neglect neither voting nor production, the No.3 engine plant set up mobile ballot boxes, and sent staff to voters' posts to distribute ballots and get voters to complete ballots and cast votes. The foundry set up four polling stations, whose 1,095 workers earnestly performed the duty, solemnly exercised the right to vote and cast votes.
