Y & C YC6K12 engine qualified through new product appraisal

On December 1, Anhui Economic and Information Technology Commission (AHEIC) held a new product appraisal meeting for "6K12 diesel engine" developed by Y & C Engine Co., Ltd. As a result, "6K12" was qualified. Seven automobile experts, including Qian Lijun, professor and vice dean of the School of Machinery and Automobile Engineering, Hefei University of Technology, acted as expert judges of the meeting. Xu Sheng, deputy chief of AHEIC, presided over the meeting, and Wang Xiang, deputy director of Wuhu Economy and Informatization Committee, was present.

Attending leaders and experts visited the machining workshop, assembling & commissioning workshop and C & C truck workshop of Y & C Engine, were briefed on product development and manufacturing, and reviewed relevant materials. The overall technical level and market outlook of YC6K diesel engines have gained full recognition from attending leaders. "YC6K is more efficient in cooling and has made a historic leap in reliability, it is not easy," said Qian, speaking highly of YC6K's reverse cross-flow cooling technology.
