Yuchai's contestants achieve good results in Guangxi "Liugong" Vocational Skill Contest for Workers

Recently, Guangxi "Liugong" Vocational Skill Contest for Workers of State-owned Enterprises, jointly organized by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the Guangxi Federation of Trade Unions, was held in Liuzhou. 14 large and medium-sized enterprises sent more than 80 capable contestants for intense competition in three categories: NC vehicle, processing center and bench worker. Eventually, Yuchai achieved brilliant results in all the three categories.    

Awards won by Yuchai: Liang Yibin of Yuchai Machinery Parts Co., Ltd. ranked third (top five placers awarded) in the category of NC vehicle, Mo Zenghuan of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. ranked fifth (top five placers awarded) in the category of processing center, Yang Bingjian of Tools Manufacturing Plant ranked fourth (top ten placers awarded) in the category of bench worker, Liang Yuan of Machining Plant ranked sixth (top ten placers awarded) in the category of bench worker, Chen Qixian of Engine Plant 1 ranked seventh (top ten placers awarded) in the category of bench worker. Also, Yuchai won the collective merit award in the category of bench worker.

Upon receipt of the contest notice in early November, Yuchai established a preparatory group and actively organized competent leaders of vocational education in all units to retain tutors and work out lists of contestants based on the results of the group skill contest this year and in previous years. Subsequently, the contestants were divided into three groups for a 21-day off-the-job closed intense training. Eventually, the contestants made great efforts, achieved brilliant results and won glories for Yuchai.
