YHI holds 2011 Work Conference on Midterm Supplier (Guangxi) Support

On August 12, Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) held 2011 Work Conference on Midterm Supplier (Guangxi) Support in Yulin. Chief Strategic Officer Pan Guoyuan, Vice General Manager Chen Dejian and Chief Engineer Liang Xiaodong of YHI, managers of Yulin Department at all levels, as well as representatives of 36 suppliers in Guangxi were present. 

At the conference, Chen gave the Report on Summary of Purchase Work in the First Half of 2011 and Key Work in the Second Half, Liang gave the Report on Technical Quality Work in the First Half of 2011 and Pan gave the Report on Strategic Planning and Operation Analysis.

In cooperation with suppliers, YHI achieved a year-on-year increase of 51% in the number of excavators manufactured. Sales data also show YHI maintained strong momentum and operated in good conditions in the first half of this year.

The conference has demonstrated YHI's confidence and resolution to "build a first-class supply chain for YHI" to suppliers in Guangxi, has strengthened the confidence and desire of suppliers and YHI for common development, and will boost the further development of YHI.
