Huang Fangfang, Director of Development and Reform Committee in the Autonomous Region, Came to Yucha

On March 21, altogether 13 people including Huang Fangfang, director of Development and Reform Committee in the autonomous region, came to Yuchai for investigations and guidance accompanied by Jin Xiangjun, secretary of Yulin Municipal Party member and Han Yuanli, deputy secretary of Yulin Municipal and mayor. Such leaders in Yuchai as Yan Ping, Gu Tangsheng, Wu Qiwei, Zhou Sunhai and Lin Zhiqiang, etc. delivered a welcome reception.

Huang Fangfang and the like watched the promotion video about Yuchai and know the development progress of Yuchai for 60 years. Huang Fangfang knows the development of Yuchai in recent years, especially the production and operation status this year.

Afterwards, Huang Fangfang and the like visited the laboratory of the engineering research institute and casting center of the casting plant. Yan Ping, chairman of the board of directors of Yuchai Group Company and the like reported the national engineering laboratory project of high-efficiency and energy conservation environmental protection combustion engine of the engineering research institute and the construction status of the casting center project.     

The national engineering laboratory of high-efficiency energy conservation environmental protection combustion engine is a technical R & D platform and R & D result conversion platform which is truly open to the whole industry. Its establishment will play an important role in improving the technical innovative capability of combustion engine and strengthening the core competitive force of relevant industries. In accordance with the standard of "No. 1 in China and among top 5 in the world", Yuchai Group will invest almost RMB 100 million Yuan, within 3 years, give full play to the comprehensive advantage of the national enterprise technology center and national approved laboratory and establish the national engineering laboratory of high-efficiency energy conservation environmental protection combustion engine based on the current Yulin R & D Base and Nanning R & D Base. The experimental and inspection equipments as built mainly include such international brands as AVL and HORIBO, etc., the function of which reaches to the international advanced level and test means are complete, meeting the experimental requirements of development procedures of current various engine new products and technologies at home, so as to reach the standard of national even the international R & D center.    

The planned area of the casting center project is about 1,800 mu and the project plans to build 6 casting production lines. After the project is completed, the annual casting capability can reach to 300,000 tons, being the largest casting manufacturing production base in Asia. Phase I of the casting center has been officially put into operation in March 2010, mainly producing cylinder block castings of diesel engines and 220,000 castings (45,000 tons) being produced every year. Phase II project of the casting center officially started in May 2010, developed the civil engineering in the end of July 2010 and began installing equipments from August 16, 2011. Recently, it will conduct trial production in some parts and achieve the completion and put into operation this year.    

While visiting and investigating, Huang Fangfang spoke highly of advanced technological equipments and technologies of Yuchai. He was satisfied with the national engineering laboratory of the high-efficiency energy conservation environmental protection combustion engine of Yuchai Engineering Research Institute and the establishment status of casting center project. He encouraged Yuchai to try hard, keep improving the strength and the competitive force.    

It is reported that the casting center project has been chosen as the major projects in the autonomous region in 2012. In accordance with relevant regulations of major project management in the autonomous region, the projects as chosen can benefit from relevant preferential policies regulated by the State and the autonomous region. Various administrative approval departments should open up the green channel, simplify the approval procedures of the major projects and prefer to go through simply and quickly.
